Define Supplementary Grant or Appropriation?

Ans. Supplementary grants are the additional grants necessary to satisfy the Government mandatory spending. Any plan or estimate seeking money form the Consolidated Fund of India must be given to the Lok Sabha in the form of a demand for grants according to the article 113 of the constitution. The supplementary grant aid the sanctioned grants to complete the projects when in need.
