Define Personal Pay?

Personal Pay is the additional pay granted to government servant to save him from a loss of substantive pay in respect of a permanent post other than a tenure post due to

(i) Revision of pay or;

(ii) to any reduction of such pay otherwise than as a disciplinary measure or;

(iii) on other personal consideration.

Permanent Advance

Define Permanent Advance?

Ans. Permanent advances are those advances which are granted to government officer who have to make payments for contingent expenditure before they can place themselves in fund by drawing contingent bill on the Pay & Account office/ Treasury may make such payments out of the permanent advances or imprests which they may be permitted to hold under the orders of competent authority.
