Define Compensatory Leave?

Ans. Compensatory Leave is a kind of unrecognized leave.

   which is granted to a Government servant, who are required to attend the office before the commencement or after the close of office hours due to certain exigencies in Public interest. 

*Compensatory leave is also admissible for working on Sunday & Holidays.
