Difference between Stoppage of Increment with cumulative effect and Stoppage of Increment without Cumulative effect?

 STOPPAGE OF INCREMENT WITH CUMULATIVE EFFECT :-

1. Stoppage of Increment with cumulative effect defers increment continues perpetually during the rest of the entire service of the employee. (मतलब कर्मचारी को भविष्य में इन्क्रीमेंट  नहीं लगेगी ).

 2. Stoppage of Increment with cumulative effect is a major punishment.

3. In case of  Stoppage of Increment with cumulative effect employee pay will not be restored to next higher stage.

4.  Stoppage of Increment with cumulative effect effects terminal benefits. Example of terminal benefits:- Gratuity and Pension etc.

5. No change in Basic Pay in future.


STOPPAGE OF INCREMENT WITHOUT CUMULATIVE EFFECT:-

1. Stoppage of Increment without Cumulative effect does not effect increment in future (मतलब कर्मचारी को भविष्य में इन्क्रीमेंट लगेगी).

2. Stoppage of Increment without Cumulative effect is considered as a Minor penalty.

3. In case of Stoppage of Increment without Cumulative effect, employees pay would be restored to the next stage after the completion of punishment period.

4. Stoppage of Increment without Cumulative effect does not effect retirement benefits like Pension, Gratuity etc.

5. Basic Pay change on account of Annual Increment in future and after the completion of Punishment period.
